The “Buy a Book” scheme was originally started after there were requests expressing an interest in contributing to the new school library which opened in 2007. As such, because of a continuing interest, we have decided that this project continue to run for the foreseeable future.
You can bequest a book or books to the library for a number of reasons – in memory of a close friend or relative, on behalf of children who have attended the school, local community interest or simply because you have an interest in the school and the library and would like to help to improve resources. The name of your choice and any other message will be added to the book plate.
We ask you to choose a book from a “wish list” that has been created on Amazon.co.uk, which can be accessed below. Alternatively, are always welcome to donate gift vouchers for Amazon.co.uk or National Book Tokens or to make a financial donation, should you wish to for stock. The idea is simple – you choose the item from the wish list below, pay for it at the virtual checkout, click on the “Wishlist” address and it gets sent directly to the school
You can access the wish list by clicking here
Important – Once you have placed your order please e-mail: buyabook@hadleighhigh.suffolk.sch.uk telling us what book you have donated and what you would like printed onto the name plate!
